I got back from a cottage down by Ottawa. and There's a few things that linger in my heart that spooks me and fills me with gratefulness. First is the beautiful monument placed downtown Ottawa near the parliament buildings. An amazing statue that all who see it see it with respect. a tomb lays in front of it for the unknown soldiers of WWI also known in Canada as the Great war.the statue is made up of 9 or so soldiers marching on for battle under and arc. above this arc there are two angels looking down at them. It's an Amazing site. If you ever go to Ottawa. go there and pay your respects to those who died in the war.

the other memorial I love is the one in the War museum in Ottawa. there is a room with a pool of water on the left side. on the right side is a tomb stone of grave of an unknown soldier. on the wall with the side filled with water is a window. light shines through this window and on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month the light shines directly on the tomb stone.

This just shows you how important WWI is to Canadians and the respect we give to those who fought in that war.
